A most excellent day!

Our first stop today was to attend church with our friends. We attended the International Anglican Church in Colorado Springs (http://www.iac-cs.org/). I haven’t been to a smells and bells church in a long time, but this was, hands down, the most Spirit filled time I have personally enjoyed in a long time. I was extremely honored to worship with such a Spirit filled, warm and welcoming group.
The church itself has an amazing story. It is a missionary planted church from the Anglican Bishopric of Rwanda. The church receives support from their sister church in Rwanda and maintains an ongoing back and forth exchange for the sole purpose of developing brotherhood between the two groups. The Bishop has said that they understand what it is to suffer genocide and have no one do anything and that America is in the midst of spiritual genocide and the Rwandan church cannot sit by and do nothing.
We had a very good lunch at Jason’s Deli (http://www.jasonsdeli.com/). I HIGHLY recommend it, superb food, generous helpings and very reasonable.
After a short nap we met some more friends and toured the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo (http://www.cmzoo.org/). A very nice, if unspectacular, zoo. Overpriced at $15 for adults and $8 for kids 3-11 but very well designed and with spectacular views across the front range of the Rockies under Cheyenne Mountain.
Dinner was superb! We at at Ted’s Montana Grill on Briargate PKWY (http://www.tedsmontanagrill.com/). I had a Delmonico Bison Ribeye Medium Rare which was superbly done along with a loaded baked potato and roasted asparagus to die for. They had Fat Tire on tap!
All in all a superb day with excellent friends, great food and intensely spiritually blessing to my soul. Do this day again, God!
