Well, the household goods finally arrived from Germany yesterday…sort of. Our stuff was packed into 15 crates, each about 8 foot by 6 foot by 4 foot. The German packers were rushed becaus the first day they just sent 1 guy to pack up a 4 bedroom house. So, yesterday, they deliver 14 crates. No idea where the other crate is. Fortunatly, what was in it seems to be replaceable, but the claims process is going to be a pain in the butt. Especially since, because they rushed,a lot of stuff got broken or damaged. More than any move we can remember.

The piano is gauged, some of the German furniture is dented, some crystal got broke. They did strange things, like individually wrap each canned good but not each piece of crystal!

But, for the most part, its down to unpacking, which is a great feeling!

And, tomorrow is a historic day! I get promoted to Major! Yeah for pay raises! I really never thought to see this day. I can only imagine where this wild ride is going…but Im going to enjoy it!
