Back from Bagram

We held a training Shura (Afghan for a meeting of tribal elders) in Bagram this week, focused on how we do training here in A’stan for soldiers just arriving in theater and how we do Lessons Learned collection and dissemination. Not a bad trip, the living was a little spartan but the food is better there.

Anyway, here are some pics.

I have been watching your Kit review for the Arrow card, where can I get a couple of those?

My buddy Vec at sells them. If you want a dogtag version, I brought 2 extras to give out, Ill drop one off the next time Im down there.

You would like Vec, he posts as Vec on the Hoods Woods forum at He spends several weeks a year with his adopted tribe of headhunters in the Northern Phillipines building school buildings and such and otherwise lives on Coronado making all things sharp and nasty.
