I am humbled

Wow. It has been 12 days since I posted and there are still over 20 of you checking in each day. I really appreciate each of you checking in. My boss and his boss are both finally back from leave. I had no idea how much the stress and high opertional tempo would drain my creativity. Other than my nightly cigar over at the N2 bar, hanging out and talking sports, politics and strategic and operational art I have done nothing but work and sleep and work out (up to running 3 miles again, going for 4 next week).

There are a lot of topics I would love to explore. From the election to my plans for my future homestead to disaster response to my thoughts from the copy of C.S. Lewis’s “Mere Christianity” I found in the barracks recently.

I promise to get back to writing soon. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. And, in a little more than 4 weeks, Ill be on my way home for mid-tour leave. So, pics coming soon!

Thanks again for all of you who bother to drop by!
