More from the farm

I have some video shot of the new chicken house, just need to edit and get it up on Youtube. Lots going on, we will be receiving 20-25 mixed Bantam pullets this weekend. According to the owner I have about 60 days before they are sexually mature enough that I need to seperate out the young cocks from the hens. Ill be keeping the best looking as a rooster, and between now and then getting another section of electro-net fencing to close off the upper hay barn/pasture shade area for the fryers.

We are still not all unpacked, though things are generally livable. We have been having so much fun playing outside we haven/t managed to fully unpack. I need some rain days to get some stuff done inside.

Headed to Moore, OK at the end of the month on a mission trip with the college/career group from out chapel. Looks like mostly chainsaw work so folks can get their properties back in shape. Im looking forward to it.

Pics and video soon, I promise.

If you need rain days you need to get you and Alabama weather man or woman…they seem to be hitting the target here. Only one day so far in the 90’s, rest in mid 80’s and tropical rain somewhere around here everyday…unbelievable!!!
